Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival, Saturday, Sept. 29, Part 1: Kick off your day with a jazzy breakfast
Mel King and the South End Technology Center invite you to their annual Bring Out the Music in You Beans and Cornbread Jazzfest Breakfast.
Hosted by The Columbus Avenue AME Zion Church, wholesome, home-cooked food is served from 9 AM to noon, accompanied by live music by local artists. Admission is $25, “more if you can, less if you can’t.” The church is located at 600 Columbus Avenue (and Northampton St.), a few steps from the day’s main event
Proceeds from the breakfast benefit the South End Technology Center @ Tent City’s Recording Studio for Emerging Artists. For more information about SETC, a collaboration between the Tent City Corporation and M.I.T., call 617-578-0597
