Her artistry effortlessly merges classic Brazilian genres like bossa nova and Música Popular Brasileira (MPB) with contemporary influences, breathing new life into beloved standards. Her innovative arrangements and heartfelt performances have made her a standout in the New England and NYC music scenes, where she performed to packed audiences. As a headliner at renowned venues like The Regattabar and Ryles Jazz Club in Boston, Teresaconsistently sold out shows, captivating audiences with her warmth and magnetic stage presence. In NYC, she has performed at the Zinc Bar, sharing her talent with a wider audience.

Teresa’s talents have taken her across the globe. She has toured Switzerland, Suriname, and Brazil, thrilling international audiences with her unique style. She’s also been a fixture in local festivals, including the Cambridge River Festival and countless others throughout New England.
Notably, she toured Europe with the celebrated group Zabumbatuq, performed with her own band in Rio, and graced the stage at the Suriname Jazz Festival in 1998. After taking a pause in her career to focus on motherhood following the birth of her son, Teresa has recently returned to the stage with renewed passion. Little by little, her repertoire has expanded to include her own original compositions, adding a fresh, personal layer to her performances that resonates deeply with audiences.
