Boston's acclaimed 13-piece jazz group, the Makanda Project, presents the last of its 2027 free outdoor concerts on the lawn of First Church in Roxbury. The group will perform selections from its extensive repertoire of Makanda Ken McIntyre compositions as well as music by South African trumpeter Feya Faku. One last chance to gather under the shade trees and enjoy the music as we head into fall. There will also be live painting sponsored by MassArt's sparc! the ArtMobile.
