Become a JazzBoston member now and receive your invitation to the coolest party of the year

We’re not modest about it. Our annual Members & Friends Party is our favorite event of the year. Besides being fun, it’s our opportunity to thank you and all the other music lovers and musicians from Boston’s arts, business, and government communities for your support and to introduce ourselves to people we’d like to know better. Once again, the party will be on the kickoff weekend of Jazz Week.
We’re also adding something very special to the party this year. We’ll present JazzBoston’s highest honor, the Roy Haynes Award “for exceptional contributions to jazz and the jazz community,” to only the fourth recipient since it was created in 2009 and presented to Roy himself. Please join us in paying tribute to Mark Sumner Harvey for his many contributions as a minister, musician, band leader, educator, community builder, and musical warrior for social justice during the 50 years since he arrived on the scene here.

Meet Mark Harvey • Mix and mingle with other creatives • Hear great music by the John Kordalewski Trio with John – piano, Carlos Pino – bass, Marcelo Pérez – drums  • Jam with some of Boston’s finest musicians • Enjoy great food from the Pastoral kitchen • Win a door prize
