JazzBoston honored Eric Jackson (second from left) with a Medal of Gratitude for his decades of opening ears and hearts to jazz through his radio show on WGBH-FM “Eric in the Evening.” The honor is extended to a week of recognition during JazzBoston’s annual Jazz Week, which was April 20-30. Joining Jackson are (l-r) Lynn Duval Luse of the Museum of African American History; Pauline Bilsky, president of JazzBoston; and Fred Taylor, Boston’s jazz empresario.
