Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival is offering JazzBoston members 10 pairs of free tickets to the lawn area (value $88/pair) on each festival day, June 26 and 27.

This year's Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival, the 33rd annual, features more than 20 concerts on two stages. Among the performers: Al DiMeola, Ahmad Jamal (photo left), Taj Mahal, Al Jarreau, George Duke, Gladys Knight, Stefon Harris, Ramsey Lewis, Kirk Whalum and Gerald Albright, Rachel Z, Kendrick Scott, and Tomasz Stanko. The festival, held on the grounds of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, has an inside seating capacity of 5,200 and lawn seating of 20,000.

The CareFusion Newport Jazz Festival is offering JazzBoston members two pairs of free tickets (value $138/pair) for Saturday, Aug. 7. The festival kicks off on Aug. 6 with Jamie Cullen and Grace Kelly at the International Tennis Hall of Fame and continues on Aug. 7 and 8 at Fort Adams State Park.

Tickets for the CareFusion Newport Jazz Festival, produced by George Wein, are on sale now, and JazzBoston members are also invited to participate in a special discounted offer of $20 off the regular price for Adult Single Day General Admission Seating. Tickets are regularly $69, but will be $49 with this offer. This discount is available online only for a limited time with the special promo code JAZZBOS. There is a (4) four ticket limit per order. JazzBoston Partners with the Boston Public Library To Bring Jazz to the Courtyard Again This Summer
JazzBoston is once again teaming up with the Boston Public Library to present three not-to-be-missed jazz performances at the Main Library in Copley Square as part of this summer's Concerts in the Courtyard series. The performances all take place on Friday afternoons from 12:30 to 1:30 in the Library's beautiful courtyard, and they are all free.

The lineup for this summer's jointly presented concerts features saxophonist Marco Pignataro and his Jazzet on July 9 and reedman Elan Trotman and his band on July 30. The extraordinary ensemble of former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky, drummer Rakalam Bob Moses, and reedman Stan Strickland (r to l in the photo) closes the series on Aug. 27.

Somerville kicks off the summer season in high style this weekend when Joe's Jazz and Blues Festival takes over Powderhouse Park with a free concert on Saturday, June 19, from noon to 8 p.m. The lineup includes the Somerville High School Jazz Ensemble, Professor Harp, Brendan Hogan & Band, the Evan Marien trio, the Ben Powell quartet, Eric Hofbauer and the Infrared Band, the Peter Parcek 3 and the Camelia Latin Jazz Sextet. The festival continues through June 27 with shows at Bloc 11, PJ Ryans, Precinct, Johnny D's, Sally O'Brien's and the Nave Gallery. Click here for details.

Berklee College of Music has a busy slate of free performances around town in its summer concert series, including alto saxophonist Hailey Niswanger at Kendall Square on June 24 at noon; vocalist Alicia Lemke at the Prudential Center on July 6 at noon; percussionist Paulo Stagnaro on the Harvard Longwood campus on July 7 at 12:30 p.m.; the gypsy jazz band the Chicken Thieves on Spectacle Island on July 11 at noon; pianist Enrico de Trizio at the Regattabar on July 12 at 5 p.m.; Son de Madre at O'Day Park in the South End on July 15 at 7 p.m.; and guitarist Italo Cunha on Spectacle Island on July 18 at noon.
