Jazz drummer Terri Lyne Carrington has shared the stage with some of the greatest names in jazz, including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Stan Getz, Dianne Reeves, John ScofieldDiana Krall, and countless others. Now, with her band, Social Science, and her post as founder of the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice, Carrington works to affect long-lasting cultural shifts through jazz, recognizing the role that the art form can play in the larger struggle for gender and racial justice.
